About Pixotter

Pixotter is a free image optimization toolkit that runs entirely in your browser. Compress, resize, convert, crop, watermark, rotate, strip metadata, and more — all without uploading your files to a server.

How it works

Pixotter uses a WebAssembly image processing engine powered by libvips, one of the fastest image processing libraries available. When you drop an image, the engine loads in your browser and processes everything locally. Your images never leave your device.

What makes Pixotter different is pipeline processing. Instead of re-uploading between each operation, you chain multiple steps — compress, then resize, then convert — and they all happen in one pass. The image stays in memory between steps. Drop once, get the result.
